Hectos ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
The App requires camera access to function correctly. The camera is used solely for real-time pose detection to count your pushups.No images or video recordings are saved, transmitted, or stored on any server. All processing happens locally on your device.
With your explicit permission, Hectos may integrate with HealthKit (iOS) to save workout data (e.g., active energy burned, workout duration) to your Health app. This data resides on your device and within the Apple Health ecosystem. We do not access or store your health data on our servers.
The App stores your workout history (reps, sets, dates) locally on your device. This data is not synced to any cloud service unless you explicitly use a cloud backup feature provided by your device's operating system (e.g., iCloud Backup).
Since your data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's security settings. We recommend using a passcode or biometric authentication on your device to protect your data.
Our App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
